What you get
The Empire VFD42FB0L Vent-Free Gas Fireplace is a vent-free gas fireplace; its listing doesn't state a heating area or heat output, so size it with the maker's manual.
Vent-free means no pipe: combustion air comes from the room and the exhaust stays in it. The manual's room-size and altitude limits and its oxygen-depletion sensor are part of using it safely; check local code first. Vent-free vs direct-vent.
Also on the listing: overall dimensions of 19 in (D) x 35 in (W) x 24 in (H), a shipping or unit weight of 102 lb and metal construction.
